When you are revising a certain topic, think about what sort of questions you could be asked and what you would put in an answer.
I have a top tip for revising for language oral exams. At my school we have our presentation speeches taped for us by the language assistant. Then we can take it home to listen to, or speak along with the tape as you learn it! Hope it helps. Kerry Ryan
Organise your notes carefully. Make notes of the facts you need to learn and then read through other books to gain a general understanding.
Don't just make notes from your text book - use a variety of sources such as subject textbooks / revision notes / GCSE books / library books.

In subjects like Geography you will need to learn facts and figures (dates etc) to back up your understanding. Don't try and learn all of them but as many as you feel you can without getting confused in an exam.
Look at past exam papers. Notice how they are set out and try answering some in your head. If you are short of time just plan your answer.
