We have described the climate in the UK.

- Britain has a variable climate that changes from day to day which means it is difficult to predict
- Britain has an equable climate which means that extreme weather is rare
- Britain has different seasons - spring, summer, autumn, winter
- The reason for Britain's weather being different North, South, East and West is because different climates come from each direction as follows:
- North - Arctic very cold
- East - Continental from Europe and Asia
- South - Tropical warm
- West - Maritime air has crossed Atlantic bringing wet weather
