Function.

- Helps the digestive system work and prevents constipation and bowel cancer.

Sources.

- Found in most plant matter e.g. vegetables, fruit and cereals.
- The cellulose from the plant's cell walls (not present in animal cells) is not easily digested by humans but is a good source of fibre.
